Dr Carolyn Platt MB ChB (Glasgow 1986), DCH, DipClinDerm
As young as Dr Mann! Carolyn trained at Glasgow University, did her General Practice training in the Monklands District in Scotland, and then worked in Ayrshire before moving to the Haverhill area in 1992. She joined the amalgamated Christmas Maltings and Clements practice in April 2003. She is the lead doctor for Clinical Protocols and Risk Assessment, and has a special interest in dermatology, having done a Clinical Assistant job in hospital dermatology clinics for many years. She too mixes her time between her work in the practice and looking after her two daughters who are bundles of energy! Other special interests include minor surgery, cardiology and paediatrics, and outside interests include needlework, gardening and travel (often to the sun-drenched shores of Bonny Scotland…)
