Dr Paul Stephenson MA (Oxon 1984), BM BCh (Oxford 1987), DRCOG, DGM, FRCGP
The next oldest! Paul trained at Oxford, obtained an additional degree in Physiology, did his General Practice training in Windsor, and joined the practice in 1991. His wife teaches music part-time at St. Mary's School in Cambridge. He has had a longstanding special interest in respiratory disease (e.g.: asthma, emphysema/COPD) and is Deputy Editor of the international Primary Care Respiratory Journal (thepcrj.org). He is the managing partner for ‘in-house’ practice matters and also organises the Undergraduate Medical Teaching. He was elected a Fellow of the RCGP in September 2008, and in May 2009 was appointed to an Honorary Clinical Research Fellowship in the Department of General Practice, Edinburgh University. Outside interests include music, gardening and hill walking – as well as fairly regular jogging at a pace that his three teenage children think is exceptionally slow and proof of the deterioration in the physical state of the human race...
